I teamed up again with the guys at Flux Broadcast to spruce up their media pack. They’re all way too humble and hate blowing their own trumpets, despite having worked with some of the biggest names around.
They asked me to help foreground some of their awesome achievements and make sure their clients realise they’re working with some of the best brains in the business.
Edge of Forever
I teamed up once again with the amazing designer Lewis Kay Thatcher to create some short straplines for Edge of Forever - an ethical baby clothes brand.
The name came from the director’s love of children’s books and reading with her younger sisters, so I tried to capture a bit of fairytale wonder and the exciting potential of every new life.
Photographer Desiré van den Berg asked me to write the artist statement for her latest series ‘Goluboy’.
It was great fun working to simplify a really complex concept, combining a 10000km journey, the theory of linguistic relativism and three different languages into one accessible piece.
Kennedy Pearce Consulting
I write a monthly blog for recruitment consultants Kennedy Pearce.
I loved every minute working with The Ability People. I created their web copy, interviewed their consultants for online profiles and helped to conceptualise the TAP tone of voice. What an incredible team.
The guys at Flux Broadcast wanted their website to reflect who they really are. I told them 'middle-aged tech geek' isn't a voice that'll sell but they wouldn't listen.
Reworking their entire site, I created Tone of Voice Guidelines and copy Dos and Don'ts for them to use across all future communications. They saw a 150% upsurge in traffic after the rebrand.
Maybe I was wrong about 'geek appeal' after all...
Fitch Brew Co.
It's was a joy to be involved with the super-motivated and coffee mad Emily at Fitch Brew Co. I consulted on branding, created and edited copy and drank way too much cold brew. Mmm.
Sarah Feather Design
I created some copy to overview the beautiful projects undertaken by Sarah Feather Design. Their work is really impressive so foregrounding passion, attention to detail and originality was paramount.
I also asked them to help decorate my flat. Still waiting to hear back on that one...
Fairtrade needed some hard-hitting copy for their Fairtrade Fortnight campaign. The plan was to reinforce the link between the food we buy and the people who produce it. Ultimately, if we buy something without considering where it comes from, we could be feeding exploitation.
2016 saw Fieldview heading on a Cosmic Journey, with Magic as its inspiration. Always love working with the ridiculously talented Lewis Kay Thatcher. Puns and dodgy jokes are becoming bit of a theme in our collaborations...
